A Secret Garden Picnic

A few weeks ago to celebrate my 22nd birthday my boy friend took me on an amazing trip to Napa Valley and in our wine tasting adventures we ran into one of the cutest picnic gardens ever!
If you ever saw the movie Secret Garden then you'll feel like you've stepped into the movie when you come across this picnic site. In search of one of the wineries we were headed to, we found this picnic grounds called V. SATTUI Winery and Deli. The greatest thing about this picnic garden is that in the middle of the garden they have an incredible deli/cheese market where you can stop by and buy any cheese or complementary wine food you can imagine. Since we had planned on buying some baguettes and cheese for our road trip to each vineyard, we were extremely pleased with this little store. They sell about 100 different cheeses, hams, breads and even have a huge selection on wines from all the local vineyards. It's pretty much picnic heaven. The place is just spectacular...it has an old french cottage feel, full of flowers and vines everywhere you look at. I doubt theres one ugly peace of ground in this fairytale picnic ground. Every bench and spot to sit at has beautiful surroundings and I would definetely go back and have a picnic there in the future.
Since the boy friend had an entire day of activities planned for me we only stayed a bit in the gardens and took some beautiful pictures...but we also bought some amazing gouda, parmesan cheese, some local cheese invention, a baguette and a cute cheese knife for a souvenir. All which tasted amazing and were even better paired with the many wines we had...So if you're ever in Napa Valley I really recommend you head over to this amazing picnic garden...It will leave a lasting impression, never to be forgotten.
