Ever since I can remember never have I once liked any cactus looking flower or plant. How could anyone fancy a plant that if touched can hurt you? They all look rough, dangerous, and ungraceful. But recently I think I've changed my mind and grown a new appreciation for them. It seems to have randomly grown on me. Who would've thought that not only food can grow on you...I once hated broccoli but through the years I can't seem to get enough of it. I guess cacti seems to have had the same effect on me. Apperantly there's soo many different types and some are incredibly beautiful. Oh how I was mistaken...figures that when you're little you go through life not noticing the true beauty of things. But from this day on I think I can truly say I love cacti.
So walking through a garden these strikingly beautiful cacti caught my eye....

David Tutera inspiration
Ive been watching My Fair Wedding with David Tutera these past days and wow is he an amazing wedding planner. If I could choose someone to plan my wedding I think he'd be my first choice. I don't know if I'd be a fan of having someone come in and change my entire wedding but I just love the ideas he has had for other people. Not only are his visions amazing but he seems to really care about the brides he helps out and many of his shows are pretty inspiring. Recently I saw an episode where he did a pink heart theme wedding for a young couple and he was trying to incorporate some pink into their food menu.
To make cocktail hour more fun he added cotton candy martinis.
They look super cute and very delicious.
So I'm stealing his idea and throwing an all girl cotton candy martini party! I'll be posting up pictures soon with the results but until then look how amazing these martinis look....
Thats the presentation and then comes the liquor..cute huh?
Girls night couldn't get any better.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
If you love romantic movies like me then maybe you'd be interested in watching LEAP YEAR, highly
recommend it for those who want to stay in on St. Patrick's Day. That has to be on my top 5 favorite movies of all time. I don't know what it is about Ireland that has me so fascinated but it's by far a place I'm going to visit soon. It could be the sexy irish accents and maybe the little romantic town feel of it all.
What better destination to choose for a romantic movie than Ireland. Castle ruins at every turn, fields and fields of green. Every part of Ireland seems to be romantic to me. So how can there not be crazy romantic traditions like that of LEAP YEAR's when one courageous woman on February 29th can take a chance and be the one to propose to a man. It sounds a bit crazy to be honest but hopelessly romantic. If there truly is a woman out there who has done this, then props to you and I just hope he said yes.
And for those of you who love flowers as much as I do and are looking to make an arrangement for St. Patrick's Day heres an idea....you don't need to use clovers to go with a theme, bells of ireland work just as well and more beautifully.
This is an arrangement I made using them...

Introduction :)
Greetings to all you passerbys :)
I never imagined myself writing to well anyone but to those of you who do come across this blog i welcome you. Im what you may consider a hopeless romantic who after many years of searching for a perfect career decided on dedicating myself to flowers. It all started with becoming a wedding planner and deciding that perhaps i would need to learn just a bit about how to fix flowers, in case of an emergency at a wedding. To my surprise I ended up loving floral design and well, now I'm a florist.
Maybe one day i'll be doing both, we'll see. But I just love sharing my designs and my thoughts on everything about love, flowers, and weddings. So please petal on through ...
